Smokey Mountain Lacquers River and Clara (Part 3)

The next and final polishes in the Smokey Mountain Lacquers Ladies of Who collection are River and Clara.

SML River

River is a blue jelly base with blue and holographic circles, squares and hexagons.  Very sheer so unless you like seeing some visible nail line, I recommend putting this over a blue or black base.  Dark blue would give this a lot of dimension!  Three coats here.

SML Clara

Clara is a beautiful dark pink jelly base with gold, pink and purple bar, circles and micro glitters.  This is so packed with glitter it's insane! For being so glitter dense, this is an easy formula! This was 2 slightly thick coats.

Next up for Smokey Mountain Lacquers are Donna and Martha!

SML Donna

Donna is a medium purple with red bars, circles, microglitter and squares. Dries semi-matte and had no chips after 24 hours despite not using a topcoat.  Love this one.

SML Martha

Martha is a beautiful medium grey with red bars, holographic bars, white silver circles, black hexagons, and fine silver shimmer.  Again, semi-matte.  My favorite of these two!

Smokey Mountain Lacquers has really easy to work with formulas and the color and glitter combinations are unique to my collection.

Smokey Mountain Lacquers Rose and Amy (Part 1)

Smokey Mountain Lacquers has been a long time favorite of mine.  And when she introduced the Ladies of Who Collection I was so excited. There are six ladies - Rose, Amy, Donna, River, Clara and Martha.

Rose

Rose is a light pink creme with black circle and pink star glitters.  I like this, it's simple yet fun.

Amy

Amy is a stunning red base with holographic bars, circles and black-blue stars.  I couldn't quite capture it fully on camera which sucks but this is so unique.  I couldn't fish out any stars but I'm sure with patience they are a breeze to pick out.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Newly Impassioned Soul, Sick Inside Wondering and Self Satisfied

Newly Impassioned Soul 

Newly Impassioned Soul is amazing.  It's such a unique color and there is a "Sensitive to light.  Store in dark area" sticker on the top.  It's a super special polish.  There are iridescent flakes in a jelly base.  Dries to a semi matte. 

Sick Inside Wondering with Self Satisfied

Sick Inside Wondering is a nice medium green semi matte creme with a blue-shifting-to-purple shimmer.  Doesn't completely translate to the nail but still very pretty and I don't have any other greens like this one.

Self Satisifed is a multi glitter in an iridescent shimmer base.  We've got moons, flowers, stars, circles, hexagons and hearts of all different colors and sizes.  See, if I named them all we'd be here all night and I'd really like to read a damn book!  (Sorry,  I'm doing a 40-a-year book challenge and I need to catch up.. it's making me irrationally ragey.)

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Cherry Blossom, Sordid End and Cold Inside Me

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer is one of the most awesome brands I’ve come across.  Hands down one of the best formulas and the most amazing colors.

Cherry Blossom (alone on pinky, white on all others)

Beautiful light pink with a blue shimmer that gives this pink so much life.  I fricken love this one.  Very flattering on all skin tones.

Sordid End

I love this one too!  Beautiful light purple with a green blue shimmer through.  It’s very shimmery in person.  Shit, this is a hot color.  I’m leaving it on.

Cold Inside Me

A beautiful unique blue.  Almost a denim teal mix with blue shimmer.  Dries semi-matte.

A England Rose Bower and Saint George

Well now that the heatwave is over I can finally function as an adult and paint my damn nails.  I purchase A England polishes from llarowe.com.

Rose Bower is a scatter holographic red.   The holographicness (word? probably not) has a golden or silver shimmer to it, depending on the light. Doesn't translate to the nail but, whatever, it's a pretty red.

A England Saint George

Saint George is a dark teal one-coater with a scattered holographic.  This has the perfect formula.  This would be perfect around the holidays and in colder weather but I don’t adhere to rules and I rebel with off-season nail polish colors.  Yellow in the winter, navy blue in the summer, who cares!

I can't be the only who noticed that I bought Christmas colors in July.
