Bonita just came out with a gel polish! Gel-on is like
a no cure gel so no lamp is required. Just brush on and go. They had six colors but,
honestly, three of them looked too much like colors I already own a million of so I only picked up three. I have
absolutely no self control so I will probably end up buying the remaining ones when I go back to RiteAid. It’s sad really.
Bonita Gel-On My Avatar
My Avatar is a blue based purple. Or a purple based blue.
Ugh, I can’t describe a color to save my life. In my defense, this looks more purple in person.
Bonita Gel-On Lovers & Friends
Lovers & Friends is a pretty coral. I mean, that’s
it. Love the formula (nothing wrong with a little VNL), color is
nice. The only thing that makes this color special to me is that it’s
leaning bright-ish (in person). Would I wear it again? Maybe, but that’s because I
have 400+ unworn polishes to get through and I’m hoping that I won’t forget
about Lovers & Friends, or any polish for that matter. Wishful
thinking.
Bonita Gel-On The Best Mint (fluorescent lighting)
I change my polish every day (I have commitment issues) so I can’t attest to the wear time of these however I ended up loving The Best Mint so much I kept it on for two days. Which is like… a frickin’ miracle. After 24 hours, it had no chipping (also a miracle considering I use my nails as tools now. A habit I have to break… again.)
I could see this polish lasting a week with minimal wear. I got compliments on the train! That’s how you know it’s a keeper, folks. These all have a perfect formula and only require two coats.
The Best Mint is my favorite of the bunch. Can we talk about how
pretty it is? It’s unique and bright and I feel loud wearing it. I
like being loud. It doesn’t photograph accurately but it’s much more "neon" in real life.
Anyway, I’m going to take The Best Mint off of my nails now. *sad
face* I can’t wait for my swatching hand’s nails to grow back to a normal
length. We had a RIP nails situation last week and I’m still in mourning.
Man, I am a Talkative Tina today.
